Welcome back!
Have you ever heard the expression, be careful what you wish
for because you just might get it? Last week, Ebony intentionally placed
herself in front to the stage with the intention of getting the hunky drummers attention.
Did her plan work? Let’s find out:
Various men in my immediate vicinity threw
out catcalls and whistles, which were flattering, but the drummer paid me no
attention. In fact, no one in the band seemed to notice me, except for one man.
One of the guitar players watched me
intently. Astonished, I nearly stumbled in my heels. He was attractive but… he
was white, not what I was aiming for. My lips tilted in a small smile before I
moved out of his line of sight, placing myself in front of dancers who’d moved
closer to the stage blocking my view of the drummer.
Hmm…so, she got a man’s attention, just not the man she was aiming for. How
do you think that’s going to work out? Tune in next week to find out!
There's an old country song... Some of God's Greatest Gifts are Unanswered Prayers... So maybe...she wasn't looking in the right direction. Guitar players are so much better anyway. Can't really woo a girl under the moonlight via drums. LOL! I'll be back next week. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Carmen! So true, can't exactly carry around a set of drums...besides, what kind of love song is going to be drowned out by the bass and symbols? Can you imagine someone playing drums outside your bedroom window? The neighbors would probably call the cops!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting situation! I wonder how she'll handle it! Very nice six!

I think she should play it cool but rule nothing out as yet! Will be interesting to see what happens next, great six, enjoying the story!
ReplyDeleteLove her dilemma...I think that somethings going to happen with this guy, even though he wasn't her target :)
