Share Your Butterfly Moment and Win!!!

Can you believe it's December already????? Where has this year gone? A lot has happened this year and I must say I feel very blessed and very happy with those changes.

When I decided to write a series, the concept of change and evolution of my characters was a starting place for me. In nature, butterflies symbolize change of a dramatic degree. People (mostly women) tattoo butterflies on their bodies to memorialize a life changing event or to commemorate a moment in time the wish to never forget. Even Ebony gets a butterfly tattoo...well, you have to read the story to find out where and why, though!

A Heart Not Easily Broken starts in May, just as Ebony is going on summer break before the final year of college. She's been working hard for the past seven years and is excited to embark on her dream of becoming a licensed veterinarian. She meets and falls in love with Brian, a man who is different, being that he is white, yet shares the same type of hard work, dedication, and passion for what he wants to achieve in life. During the seven months the book follows their relationship, each character is tested, the strength of their relationship, love, and the ability to grow and evolve into better, more open-minded people ensues. By the end of the book, it is December. With hearts full of love and gratefulness, they have experienced their life-changing butterfly moment.

How about you? Have you had a Butterfly Moment, something that has changed your life for the better or opened your eyes to new things, people, or experiences in 2012?

SHARE that moment and be entered into a drawing for a $10 AMAZON GIFT CARD from 5 Prince Publishing!!!

Comment, but don't forget to LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!! Doing so will automatically enter you into the contest. The contest starts December 3rd and ends December 9th, and the winner will be announced in a blog post as well as by email on December 10th. (If you have won any contest on this blog in the past six months, feel free to comment, but you will not be eligible to win.)

By the way, I will be sharing my Butterfly Moment then, too! Have fun!!!

  2. I think my butterfly moment happened after a bad breakup in 2008. I had to realize that I'm my own person and changing myself for someone won't change anything after they're gone. I love myself and that won't ever change. It's a journey but I'm worth it.

  4. My car was stolen from being parked in front of my door which had me very upset, but about 5 miles away another car theft was taking place by gun point and therefore putting a young lady in the hospital. The lord is good all the time.

My buterfly moment was most definitely being told my husband had a mass in his neck and symptomts that mimicked lymphoma and then having an ultrasound that confirmed his thyroid isn't functional. 1. I have a thyroid issue as well, glad mine was caught early, but it's still serious and must be maintained. I wish him the best, and yes, thinking the worst would definitely have you praying!

Thank you for the compliment, believe me I am writing my butt off! Can't wait to start sharing it with you!
