  1. This year my dad got news that he has cancer. He is having test now and we will know on the 26 of November how bad and course of action. So I am thankful for my dad. It too this to make me see that he could be taken from me and not ready for that

  2. My oldest brother was killed in a car accident on Oct. 15th on the same night 2 hours prior my brother-in-law died. While I was feeling bad for my sister-in-law I could not believe that the next phone call in the middle of the night would be to me telling me that my brother was killed. Just that fast we can be here and then gone. This is the first time in a long time that I will be able to sit down with my family and just be thankful for our todays because things can change in the blink of an eye and I don't want to take a moment for granted. Im just thankful.

  5. WOW! This year back on February 20th I had a heart attack, I was shock when I was rushed to the emergency room thinking it was my arthritis in the chest. When the doctor said you are having a heart attack and proceeded to do what they do. I thought of my twin sons I left sleeping who would not know until they woke that mom was in the hospital. I couldn't believe it because I had none of the what I called the required signs that mostly led to these things; You know like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes etc ...What I learned is that stress can kill you just like anything else. I was so stressed about getting back in the work force after being a stay at home mom until my boys no longer needed daycare which was where all my previous working income went and to car gas. Hubby said you mind as well stay home. I did and went back to school instead, which I learned is much harder as you get older. Lol! So I am thankful that I'm still here and have the chance to do better for myself and my family.

  6. My daughter was sent to Kuwait to serve 9 months on the base there. She is an Army MP. I miss her very much. My son is about to get his driver's license and is one step closer to being an independent young man. When my husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary, we took our son with us. I realized that our opportunities to spend time as a family were passing us by. I'm thankful for every moment we have together. allisonmoyer at yahoo dot com

  7. I am so graceful to God that I have Him in my life and for giving me the most wonderful husband that I have loved for over 42 years of marriage. This year my husband took me on a unbelievable trip to Hawaii for two weeks. I flew, cruise and enjoyed the sunsets. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and I am so glad to have been able to have done this wonderful trip. Thank you my God!

  8. What can i say i have been through heck and back and I am survived it, At the times when things was all going bad all at once i felt it was so unfair, friends betrayal, family, ,my health issues going blind in one eye, being diagnosed with pain and joint disease, Felt like the walls was coming in on it.. at the time i had nobody just my son who is 6 , turned to god did not ask why asked for him to help me cause i was truly lost as to why all this was going on at once, slowly but surely god brought people in my life that truly loved me for me helped me when i felt it was no help at all, showed me i was stronger than i realized i made it through when other would of gave up cause it was easier..also helped me move closer to god cause without him I would not be here .. god showed me what was really important in life gave me many life lessons that i did not know i truly needed but got and needed it..showed me who i can trust who was going to be there when times was bad.. also showed me how to appreciate things in life even though i did i took it for granted he gave me a wake up call on that, even though i went through heck and back i came out much stronger, wiser, smarter , woman..god is good.. creammymocha@gmail.com

  9. Let's see, the big thing that has happened to make me thankful is the gaining of new friends all year and coming to the realization that some people will not be in your life forever. Email: Daniel.E.Caudill@gmail.com

  10. I'm thankful for my 7yr old prince...
I was forced to make a choice between my baby getting a education or my job, I choose my baby getting an education. I had to step away from a job I had been for over ten years for my sweetie and would do it all over again.

I'm also thankful that the lord sees fit to continue to wake me up everyday. Within the past month i've loss 3loved ones... So i'm more than just thankful, i'm so profoundly blessed that I raise day after day...

  11. The thing that has happen this year in my life is that God has bless me to wake up everyday. Life is so short and people myself included take life for granted. We are all so busy with our everyday life that we don't take the time to sit back and realize how bless we are. I am so grateful to still have my 86 year old grandmother around to still treat me like I'm still a baby and not the 38yr old women I am. lol I'm thankful for my two wonderful children that God blessed me to give birth to. I'm also thankful for my wonderful husband that God put in my life. I was in a very bad car accident in 09 that I could have lost my life in but lucky for me I only suffered a broken back. Every since that eye opener I promised myself I would never take life or my family for granted again....
